Christmas Stalls

Have a look at my Christmas stall dates. First one is in 2 weeks time. Best get off the computer and get sewing!

My first stocking

Earlier today somebody asked me if I made Christmas stockings. Until this afternoon the answer was no but I love a challenge and managed to pull this little beauty together in not much time at all.
After consulting my friend the internet, I found a very helpful guide on how to make a stocking from "Kirstie's Homemade Christmas". The steps were really easy to follow and I might just make a few more in time for my first Christmas stall at Brudenell Social Club in 2 weeks time.

Punting for bunting

Just finished making this bunting for 2 little girls called Mia and Olivia.
This bunting is typically very pink and flowery which is great for little girls but I make bunting in plenty of other colour ways and always take requests.
10 flags measuring 2.5(ish) metres is £15 with a small extra charge to add lettering.

Pink cakes for a good cause

Thought I'd share these cakes I made for "Wear it pink day" at work.
It's the most effort I've ever put into icing cakes and I was rather pleased with how they looked.
The best thing is by selling them we raised lots of money for Breast Cancer Charities!

Christmas Designers Marketplace Middlesbrough

I'll be selling at Designers Marketplace on Dec 3rd at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Come along. Fingers crossed for no spontaneous snow storms this year!

Beach huts

Just finished this Beach hut cushion. Bright colours and a summertime theme to cheer me up on a dark, chilly night.

Busy busy busy

For the first time since we moved house I've managed to get my sewing machine out of it's box and move enough of our excess furniture to sit at my desk and use it.
Here are the first few creations to sprout from it since it was dusted off on Sunday evening.

Some lovely cushions made with my favourite stripey fabric and the last piece of some bargainous yellow wool fabric I found at a jumble sale a few years ago.

Also I have my first stall of the Christamas season confirmed. Handmade at the Brudenell Social Club on 27th November.
If you live in Leeds you should definitely come. There are always loads of other fantastic stalls, yummy tea and cake too and it's free to get in. 3 very good reasons to come and take a peek.
